1. Information we collect
To enable features like Cloud Account Sync and login, we collect the email address you use to create an account (via Google Firebase). Entered provider URLs, usernames and passwords are encrypted on your device before they reach your cloud profile, using a key we never receive — it stays on your devices, plus a copy locked with a recovery code shown only to you. We store ciphertext we cannot open. Lose the code and neither can we: add the provider again and syncing continues. Leave cloud sync off and this data never leaves your device at all. If you use the app without an account, this data is kept strictly local.
2. Viewing History and Local Data
Televi builds large local caches (via SQLite) of the playlists you add to make navigation lightning fast. These playlists, your playback progress, and your viewing history do not leave your device, unless you have enabled Cloud Account Sync. In that case, this data is exclusively linked privately to your own profile.
3. Data sharing with Third Parties
Your privacy is our priority. We never sell, rent, or share your email address, viewing history, or saved (provider) configurations with third parties or advertisers. Anonymous crash reports and analytical data (via Firebase Crashlytics) may be collected to squash bugs and improve app stability.
4. Your Rights
You always have the right to permanently delete your account including all associated data (such as synced settings and provider details). This can be done directly via the settings in the mobile or TV application, or by contacting us.
